I had some fails this week on the road to “fashionista-dom”! I started off the week right with this outfit that I showed previously. I love the Talbots ankle pants, which were thrifted. The super-soft Cable & Gauge tee-shirt is a gorgeous color, purchased at Boscov’s. The shrug is Calvin Klein, purchased at Ross Dress For Less.
This entirely thrifted outfit was perfect for doing a lot of walking on a warm day in Victorian Cape May — Sigrid Olsen tee shirt with an easy elastic-waist skirt. The Pesaro “Luda” sandals were bought on clearance. They’re super comfortable, with a bit of what call “Sweet Adelines bling” on the front!
I paired these previously-shown red capris with a Minnie Mouse tee shirt from my last trip to Disney World. Not the most glamorous thing I’ve ever worn!
I loved this tunic top when I bought on clearance at Peebles, but I should have listened to one of my favorite bloggers —Susan at Fifty Not Frumpy — when she advised “petite” women in one of her videos to be careful about the length of their tops. This one is just too long for me, especially when paired with these wider-legged capris.
Pairing it with the shrug was not helpful! Maybe the top would be better with a skinnier pant?
